Open Built Fabric
:
Open-built fabric focuses on any built entity that is, in one way or another, accessible to the public. Scale is not relevant here and ranges from a tiny coffee shop to a grand theater. These spaces are not necessarily public buildings, but they do have a public function whereby access is granted to people at certain times. Thus, open-built fabric includes buildings that represent a continuity of public space and that play a role in the urban life of a territory.
