: From one to three

For a huge apartment subdivided into many small offices, the client requested its
partition and complete renovation, in order to create three spacious residential flats. With similar sizes, programs and language, what once was a space profusely divided, became space for living.

Elements were carefully selected and designed. The project was built around simple objects arranged in different ways to maximize the opportunities of each of the units proposed. Long and open kitchen spaces, made out of wood, were replicated in all the units taking into account the differences in their sizes, but with identical essences. In addition to this, arched doorways of that same wood were position in relation to those kitchens. All the rest remained simple: a light wooden parquet and white walls that would highlight the appearance of these few objects that compose the project.
