For this single-story apartment, we proposed an additional floor that would take all the public program of the project, leaving the private rooms for the lower level. Adding an extra floor with a light roof enabled us to propose as many openings as we wanted, providing enough daylight to the living room and kitchen. As the upper plan was already big, the remaining space that was not used in these previous programs was left as a roof top terrace with views on the city. The lower floor was organized in a very pragmatic and modulated way, hosting bedrooms, kids playroom and parent’s office.
